Cardiac Technology and Implantable Devices

The Cardiac Technology and Implantable Devices group is investigating novel technical solutions and devices for the treatment of cardiovascular disease, in particular cardiac arrhythmias and coronary artery disease. We are a highly interdisciplinary and dynamic group of engineers, physicists and physicians passionate about new technologies and inspired from daily clinical work. Collaborations with academia and industry, in-house state-of-the-art facilities (prototyping workshop, workshop for microelectronics) and our expertise allow us to transfer new technologies from bench to bedside.
